Deliver Serious Electrical Work Right
A master electrician-led team licensed across Orange, Ulster, Sullivan, and Newburgh
Randy has been working in the electrical trade since 1997, and Lehland Electric has been serving Kerhonkson and the surrounding region as a family-owned and operated business since 2005. That depth of field experience translates directly into the kind of substantial-project capability — whole-home wiring, commercial construction, industrial electrical, panel upgrades, generator installation, pool and hot tub wiring, and EV charger installation — that larger jobs genuinely require. Lehland Electric holds master licenses in four jurisdictions: Orange County, Ulster County, Sullivan County, and the City of Newburgh, which means the credentials are in place before work ever begins.
Whether you're wiring a new home from the ground up, coordinating electrical through a full remodel, or bringing a commercial or industrial facility up to spec, the scope of what's involved matters. Understanding what options fit your project — and why — gives you a clearer path to a decision that serves your home or business long-term.
Lehland Electric is licensed and insured, and every project carries a 30-day workmanship guarantee, with specific warranties discussed at the time of your estimate. The work is done neatly and professionally, by people who treat the job and the client with equal seriousness.

How a Coordinated Electrical Estimate Works
Lehland Electric's approach starts with making sure you understand your options — not just what needs to happen, but which approach makes the most sense for your specific project. That means clear communication from the first conversation: what the scope involves, what the estimate covers, and what to expect at each stage of a larger installation or construction project. Specific warranties are outlined at the time of quote so there are no surprises after the fact.
For projects involving coordination with general contractors, builders, or other trades — commercial construction, restaurant wiring, contractor work, or industrial electrical — sequencing and predictability matter. A master electrician and journeymen team working under a single licensed operation keeps that coordination consistent and accountable throughout the job.
Lehland Electric handles a wide range of project types across residential, commercial, and industrial categories, including:
Whole-home wiring and new home electrical wiring for ground-up residential builds
Generator installation, pool and hot tub wiring, and residential and commercial EV charger installation
Commercial construction, restaurant wiring, contractor coordination, and industrial electrical work across the Kerhonkson service area and surrounding communities including Kingston, Newburgh, New Paltz, and Woodstock

We had an upgrade to our breaker box done today. Couldn't be more pleased with the professional job performed by LP. Dealing with Randy the owner is great. His company also installed our hot tub a couple months ago. an equally outstanding job. He is knowledgeable, professional and above all reliable. Would not hesitate to call him again.

What a Family-Owned Master Electrician Practice Delivers
Lehland Electric has operated as a locally owned and operated, family-run business since 2005 — not a franchise, not a large regional outfit, but a practice where Randy's name and license are attached to every job. Holding four master licenses across the region reflects a level of professional standing that goes beyond the minimum required to operate, and it means the business is qualified to take on work where others aren't. That accountability is built into the structure of how Lehland Electric works.
The quality of the finished work is neat and professional — not just functional, but done in a way that reflects care about how the end result looks and lasts. With a 30-day workmanship guarantee backing every job, and a team that includes both master electricians and journeymen, the standard applied to a large commercial project is the same one applied to a residential panel upgrade or new home wire.
If you're planning a project and want to work with an experienced, licensed team, request your estimate and let's get started.
